14th November, 2017

In our series of staff profiles, we introduce you to the friendly faces that help make the Elite so special. This month we speak to Trish, who works at our Ruskington restaurant…

Name: Patricia Frasier

Nickname: Trish

Job title, Shop: Counter Assistant/Front of House, Ruskington

Period of time worked for company: 10 yearsI worked at Welbourne’s Fish and Chips previously for 7 years.

Q: Why did you choose to work for The Elite Fish & Chip Company?

I was given a temporary job which tuned into a full-time job!

Q: What is your favourite part of the job?

I love people! I’m such a people person and I’ve been in Ruskington all my life. Some people refuse to get served by anyone else when they come in!

Q: What is your favourite item on the Elite menu?

I really like the salt and pepper squid!

Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?

To be much stronger as I’m such a weakling!

Q: What did you want to be as a child?

A vet or a midwife - anything to do with animals or babies.

Q: What’s your biggest fear?

I used to have a fear of spiders but I’m not afraid of them anymore. After having children, I just got used to getting rid of them! Now it would just be growing old and ill.

Q: If you could switch jobs with anyone for a day, what would you choose to do?

I’d switch with a midwife as I’d love to deliver babies!

Q: What is your favourite way to relax outside of work?

I love to relax by spending time with my family.

Q: What is at the top of your bucket list?

I’ve been all over the world, but it would just be to spend and enjoy more time with my family.

Q: If you could change anything about the business what would it be?

I think it’s running smoothly so I wouldn’t change anything!

Q: If you could have dinner with one person from the past who would it be and why?

John Lennon – I would have loved to have had a good chat with him as I’ve always been a Beatles fan and it would be so interesting to get his views on life. I really admired him and cried for nearly three days when he died.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be and why?

I’m not a big foodie, but if I had to choose to eat one thing I would choose roast dinners.

Q: And finally, what question would you like to ask for our next staff profile?

Would you change anything about your life?
