Nickname: I don’t have one that’s said to my face, but I am known as “boss”!

Job title, Shop: Manager, Ruskington restaurant.

Period of time worked for company: More than 30 years.

Q: Why did you choose to work for The Elite Fish & Chip Company?

I went into catering when I left school and then I met Adrian and it went from there…

Q: What is your favourite part of the job?

The customers! I love being able to see them enjoy their food and watch them come back time and time again.

Q: What is your favourite item on the Elite menu?

I love fish, so all of the fish options!

Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?

To earwig, so that I could listen in on people’s conversations when I’m frying!

Q: What did you want to be as a child?

A hairdresser.

Q: What’s your biggest fear?

Suffering from aches and pains as I get older.

Q: If you could switch jobs with anyone for a day, what would you choose to do?

I love my own job so much that I wouldn’t want to switch with anyone else!

Q: What is your favourite way to relax outside of work?

Socialising with friends, I have a good set of friends!

Q: What is at the top of your bucket list?

To travel more and to go to more countries! 

Q: If you could change anything about the business what would it be?

I’d like walk-in freezers because we haven’t got them at Ruskington and I would also like the Ruskington restaurant to be a little bigger, I could just do with more space for our hungry customers! 

Q: If you could have dinner with one person from the past who would it be and why?

It would have to be Queen Victoria because she knew what she wanted and she went out and got it!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be and why?
