The shortlist for the 16^th Lincolnshire Live Business Awards has been announced and we are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Heart of the Community Award and Medium Lincolnshire Business of the Year. 

2019 has been an incredible year for our company and entering awards allows us to reflect on our achievements: from a small village takeaway in Huddersfield to a chain of three successful county restaurants and takeaways which has operated in Lincolnshire for the past 30 years.

It is an honour to be recognised amongst some fantastic Lincolnshire businesses and we are proud to help showcase the county’s talent. Following an interview with the judges on 19^th September, winners will be announced on Thursday 17^th October – and we have everything crossed!

The Heart of the Community Awards celebrates excellence in corporate, social and ethical activity and identifies businesses that go the extra mile to best exemplify social and community spirit, while the Medium Lincolnshire Business of the Year recognises business progress especially those with innovative products, services or processes and expansion into new markets and areas of business activities.

In the last year alone, the company has featured in The Book of Amazing People, won the Healthier Options Award, smashed its £30,000 fundraising target across three charities and is due to open a fourth restaurant and takeaway at the end of the year in Lincoln’s historic Bailgate.

We have also taken major steps to tackle climate change by ensuring all the waste produced at Lincoln, Sleaford and Ruskington is now reused, recycled, composted, or converted into energy.

As always, a huge thank you goes to our staff and customers who work tirelessly to help us to meet these achievements – winning this award would be a great reward for their year-long efforts.
